| This package combines an in-depth look at Athens with a superb 7-Day Aegean Cruise. With your ship as your hotel, you’ll cruise about the Aegean and visit some outstanding destinations: The first is Istanbul, you’ll have a full day to explore Istanbul, which the Greeks still call Konstantinoupolis (=Constantinople)! Here you’ll see an incredible contrast between east and west. Next is the jewel of the Aegean, Mykonos, with its enchanting town and mind-boggling twisting lanes. The following day, you’ll arrive at Kusadasi to shop at the bazaars, then to Patmos with its famous Monastery of St. John. The next stop is Rhodes, where you’ll have a full day to explore the Old Town, or even go to Lindos. Day 1 Athens City
Arrival at Athens International Airport. Meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day at leisure. Day 2 Athens City
After breakfast, depart for your sightseeing tour of Athens. Visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Syntagma Square, the Royal Palace, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, The Thesseum, The Greek Orthodox Cathedral, the Flea Market of Monastiraki, The Academy and, last but not least, the Acropolis. In the afternoon you will be transfered to Piraeus port to embark on the vessel for your 7-Day Greek Island & Turkey Cruise. Enjoy the many activities aboard the ship, or just relax enjoying the scenery while sailing to your first port of call, Istanbul. |  Athens Streets |
Day 3
Afternoon arrival in Konstantinople (Istanbul), the crossroad of Europe and Asia. Take a short walk to get acquainted with the atmosphere of the city. Overnight on board. |  St. Sofia Cathedral |
Day 4
Explore the fascinating city. Take an optional tour to the famous St. Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the Topkapi Palace, or visit the Grand Open Bazaar, the largest in the world and one of the most famous. Afternoon departure for Mykonos, the jewel of the Aegean. |  Mykonos Sunset View |
Day 5 Mykonos (Island)
Morning at sea. Early afternoon arrival at Mykonos, with its rustic windmills, churches, whitewashed houses, beautiful beaches and the cosmopolitan nightlife, which have made this Cycladic Island the island of choice for the rich and famous of the world. |  Mykonos Little Venice |
Day 6 Patmos (Island)
Early morning arrival at Patmos, the Island of the Revelation. The famous Monastery of St. John the Divine dominates the town and the cultural life of the island. There will be a three and a half hour stop here until we depart for Kusadasi, Turkey, the ancient Ephesus. We will sail in at 14:30 and stay there for 6 hours. Take advantage of your time and do visit one of the "Seven Wonders of the Ancient World," the ancient Greek City of Ephesus. Wander among the many famous bazaars, or tour Ephesus (optional excursion). 20:30 we depart for the island of the Knights, Rhodes, where we will be the next morning. Day 7 Rhodes (Island)
Arrival in the morning to the Island of Roses, Rhodes, famous for its historic Medieval Town, great shopping, and the site of the Colossus of Rhodes. Visit the Temple of Athena on Acropolis of Lindos (optional), or stroll around the medieval Castle and the famous Street of the Knights of St. John. You may also visit, on your own, the Valley of the Butterflies and Kamiros. We will sail for our next port of call, Agios Nikolaos, Crete, in the afternoon. |  Rhodes Old Castle |
Day 8 Heraklion (Prefecture), Santorini (Island)
Morning arrival at Agios Nikolaos, Crete. There is a lot to see here, please consult the excursions manager about your options. At noon we sail to Santorini, where we arrive in the afternoon. The village is perched on the rim of an ancient volcano and believed by many to be the site of the Lost Continent of Atlantis. This is our last port of call. Day 9 Piraeus Port, Athens City
Early morning arrival into the port of Piraeus. After disembarkation, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Day 10 Athens City
